He holds a Saudi nationality. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and is currently the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt (non-executive). His previous experience includes: Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ithmaar Bank in Bahrain, and Chairman of the Board of Supervisors of Dar Al-Maal Al-Islami Holding, which contributed to the establishment of a chain of Faisal Islamic banks and Islamic investment and Takaful companies throughout the Islamic world. In addition, he served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Faisal Islamic Bank of Sudan
